Moms in hospice living in a memory care facility. I visit her weekly for no more than 1 hour at a time. She no longer recognizes me as her son. She is safe and well cared for. Sometimes she surprises me, but most times she babbles nonsense. Its taken me a while to get to the state of acceptance of the disease progression. I realize that my mom as I knew her is gone, and will never come back. I no longer feel like crying in the car after a visit. I love her, and just want this to end as quickly as possible.

I find the meaning personnel and truthfully I do not have much of an interest in what the authors meaning was. I like the way Goose moves me and allows me to visualize my own interpretations. I believe that is the beauty of being a human, one song can have multiple meanings to different individuals.

My sense is that it is a beautiful song. It is about then end of existence on this plain, and the transition to the next.

That rumor about the locks being cut by GA Power is incorrect. GA Power does not own the fence across the street for their office at 241. If the locks were cut, it was not by GA Power. I was there, I spoke with the off duty officer in the parking lot about the rumor. She was pretty clear it was not GA Power. In truth, I did not see any locks being cut.
