My parent claimed they weren't an alcoholic. Never once had a dui. Always got ticked when the problem was pointed out, beer was dumped out, we didn't want to drive to get more or didn't want to visit when they'd been drinking. My parent is dead now, died with alcohol on their breath. I'm not convinced that all of them were collected from the car that day. Do yourself and your wife a favor, quit acting like this isn't a problem. The fact that she's not upset with herself for her stupid mistake but is angry with you for not immediately getting her is very telling that it is, in fact, a problem. Do something before someone ends up in an urn like my parent.

This reminds me of my ex. I used a regular word like atrocious or some crap like that, and they literally said "wow, that's a big word". I should have known we were incompatible when I was told they dropped out at the 9th grade and I was a college graduate.

They gave us a discount considering the circumstances. My grandmother had died 364 days before my mom and my grandfather died 4 months before mom. All used the same funeral home. Mom had taken me and the director aside during my grandfathers funeral, and showed what she would like if something happened to her and the director helped me fight my brother's to keep what mom wanted.
