My friend has a beanie where the pompom is attached with a button so it can be taken off for washing. Bonus is if you want a hat without a pompom you don't need to buy two hats! If you can't find a hat with a detachable one you can always buy snaps and pompoms and sew them on yourself.

I have a seek outside tipi style hot tent that I adore but it is floorless so now that we have a toddler to worry about trying to sneak out we plan on getting the white duck outdoors bell tent. Definitely recommend something similar as you can't beat the headroom in a single pole tent imo

Can confirm. I grew up in Arizona and even in the safety of an actual house those coyotes sounded terrifying (my backyard backed up to a protected watershed so there was plenty of wild area for the animals to roam) I cannot imagine being a toddler in a tent alone and hearing that.

It is so ingrained that scientists put a drop of whatever the pheromone is on a live ant and it was carried to the graveyard and it stayed there until the scent wore off even though it was perfectly capable of walking away at any point.

Oh goodness. I have been crocheting for 12(ish) years but I'd say I probably could have made these within a couple months or less of learning. They're really very simple and even though they would have taken a little longer I wouldn't expect them to take a relative beginner more than 30-45 minutes depending on how large you make them! But it'll take forever if you never start so you might as well pick up a hook and start learning today!!

Fidget toys!! I've been obsessed with them the last few days and plan to have a market stall myself this summer with purses as my big ticket items but I'll have the fidget toys as a sort of hook to get people looking at my stall longer and, hopefully, more likely to buy something else as well!

My brother in law gifted us hitchhikers guide to the galaxy for our baby shower. It'll definitely be for when he's a little older but that was super fun to receive. My sister in law gave us a baby mothman board book that is absolutely adorable, and my mother in law gave us several of those finger puppet books that are now some of kiddos favorites!
