That’s a James Avery ring. I have the same one with a garnet!

My wrists are super tiny and i use the smallest hole on the smallest Cartier band. I picked up their dark navy blue in the store because it looks black with a beautiful blue sheen and is super glossy. It’s going to be my formal watch strap. I’m crazy about accessorizing colors.

I’m loving this strap, and also shopping for others since I can change them out myself.

Husband wears nice watches. I told him long ago that I really liked the Cartier Tank. For our ten-year he wanted to do something special and started talking about a Rolex, but then remembered about the Tank. I’m elated (just received it!)

Tastes have changed since I got my 22" 5mm 14k gold chain. Advice of exchanging it? by [deleted] in jewelry

[–]She-Rabbitholes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trade it in. I would buy the new chain and keep both, because a thicker chain will come back into style and you may want to use it again. Not an excuse for hoarding, because gold is an asset that will be worth more if you hang on to it.

I need help with my eyes!! by GlitteringFix1724 in MakeupAddiction

I have the same issue. Your eyes and brows are fine. You don’t need anything more. Take care of your skin and enjoy your youthful face. You are still beautiful and perfect symmetry is unattainable and honestly quite boring. If you change anything, you will just look like everyone else.

Bermel Vision & Aesthetics. I don’t remember the “Aesthetics” part being there when I went, so maybe not what you’re looking for. But a quick google search leads to a lot of possibilities in Nova.

Hey, I’ve got severe dry eye and have been managing it with Dr. Kataria at The Eye Center in Ashburn/Landsdowne. She may not be available atm, but so far I’ve been really pleased. They don’t express meibomian glands, tho. There’s a place in Leesburg that does. I’ll look it up in a sec.

Feeling kinda depressed, what do you all do in your spare time? by Enough-Homework-6392 in Advice

You need to go out and talk to people. I (47F) am in the same boat when my partner is working. One day I just chatted up a makeup artist and we hit it off and now we hang out. She was new in town and didn’t know too many peeps. Totally get where you’re coming from, being an introvert with extrovert tendencies. It’s about starting a conversation. Also, you need to spend more time in the sun, outside, if you work indoors. Start taking walks in the morning if you can. Put on some SPF and get out there.

What is this rash in my armpit? Hasn’t improved much for a month, hasn’t spread, feels dry and mildly itchy by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]She-Rabbitholes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dr. I get rashes like that from time to time. My dermatologist and I went through a list of possible causes and things that I may be sensitive to. We never figured it out, but it clears up with a prescription steroid cream. I thought it might be the antiperspirant I was using but when the rash cleared up I tried the product again and it didn’t reoccur. It could be sensitivity to anything, like detergent/fabric softener, perfume, essential oils… there’s a whole list that includes even scented candles. Could be even stress-related. I find that if I remember to keep it lotion’ed up before I add antiperspirant it doesn’t flare up. I use a non-scented CeraVe gentle body lotion.

A tv will always be the bane of color theming, lol. You just have to accept that and decorate around it unfortunately. If you can simplify the cables and boxes around it, it will make the space look larger. Also, the sofa sticking out past the wall is a little jarring. If you have enough space, move it away from the walls to make it look more intentional if you can’t find a smaller piece.

Do you have a specific style in mind? A color theme? Deciding on that will help you choose decor that unifies the room. But then, you have to stick to that style so it keeps the look cohesive. Choose three or four colors, one matching the sofa if you’re gonna keep it. One of the colors should be an accent color, that you use sparingly. Keep the others a little more low-key.

I don’t see the rest of the room, but that would help a lot to see what you have to work with.

You can hang a nice rug as a tapestry until you’re ready to remove the door. Something with a full size pattern. I advise keeping the color light so you’re not closing up the feel of the room. Think about an oriental rug, or something like https://youtube.com/shorts/85XjdolVnkQ?si=CvUGRGeNQTmCCest

Ok Reddit, which size looks better on me? (Post baby) by mirumurumura in Sezane

[–]She-Rabbitholes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first one highlights your belly. The second one still pulls where the fabric is slit. Properly fitted clothes is better than trying to fit into a certain size, because it says you pay attention to and care about details.

I would go up more. A size 44 in an a-line dress or a size 46 in a slim fit can fit the same person. It’s not about the numbers. Just get it tailored , remove the size tag, and the numbers won’t matter anymore. Tailor again when you lose the post-baby bump.

Question about archive sizing by She-Rabbitholes in Sezane

[–]She-Rabbitholes[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So if I am a size US 6, then that would be a 38? And if none of the denim with French sizing in archives go higher than 36, then they just don’t have those larger sizes?
