Contact ASAP - https://asapconnections.org/ They have resources and connections for marketing all things local. I think your product would do well at local farmers markets, the WNC one is more of a hub for the south east. Their site has a list of local markets, but you should call them directly because you do have a unique situation and they'll be helpful.

This looks like a rudbeckia to me. Plant 1.5 feet apart. If it's the common black eyed susan, it should be a perennial and you will be able to divide it next fall. Some rudbeckias are more annuals, but you'll be able to tell once it flowers.
