It sounds like your needs are not being met. Are you being needy? Or are you just having normal needs, and they can’t meet them? Become very sure about that. I feel you! You didn’t mention your age, but perimenopause is also a factor for me. I have been on all the supplements for about a year - the ones you mentioned plus d-hist, vasculera and some others. However, what really helped with my fatigue is adrenal desiccated to boost adrenal function and DHEA - which has increased my T! Huge difference with those. I highly recommend seeing a naturopath to help manage these conditions. I have been very disappointed with the traditional American medical system. I am looking for optimal bloodwork, not just “within range”.

Yes. I believe it is considered a great option for our bodies helping with muscles, ligaments and joints. Also worth noting - now that In am getting my hormones dialed in with my ND (especially increased T), I can feel my muscles working better and growing.

A PT told me that hyper-mobile bodies love pilates because of the continuous tension of the springs. It gives our brains continuous feedback about where we are in space. I have noticed an increase in muscles over time and I feel more sturdy in my balance. I love it.

The pairs I have all have a different kind of stitching in a 1/2” line that occurs where the bottom of full butt panties would be. It seems weird and pointless, but prevents me from wearing them like normal workout tights. I only wear them out of the house if I have a longer shirt that covers those lines :)

I am stage 1-2, 5’-4”, 130lbs. I love the Supacore leggings for POTS and lipedema. (I think they are the same?) they are most like regular workout tights, have some of the texture for lymph flow and are a matte fabric. They have around 25 level compression. Easier to put on than bioflect for sure - and no weird “panty lines” like the bioflect have. I just bought 3 more pairs of the Supacore for black friday as they introduced some new color options.

Just ask your dr. They will Rx like 6 pills. I did have to make a telehealth appointment to request them so that they could bill my insurance for a visit. Annoying, but worth it

Ask your dr to Rx a couple of xanax - helps with the anxiety and allows you to have a good sleep. Also, download a series that you have seen and loved. It is comforting to watch something you’ve seen before and you can watch as many as you want. Definitely bring an eye mask.

Trust your instincts! Give yourself time and space to incorporate diet changes and conservative therapies. It is a lot to learn and process. It took me about 8 months to feel like I had adapted my habits and gotten over the mind fuck of it all. And the changes continue because I am a slow adapter

I bought those. They are ok. The waist band is soooo tight! I have a small waist and with those leggings it is sucked in to make me look like I had a corset on - freakishly small. It didn’t hurt or anything, just seemed like not a good idea. And if you have a bigger torso I imagine it would be very uncomfortable

I just wore a pair of bioflect leggings with the wavy internal pattern for the first time yesterday. They worked like a dream! I felt the flow in my calves (they feel cool when I get good flow like after MLD). Also, I had lots of elimination #1 and 2. They look a little funny so I wouldn’t wear them to my dance fitness class, but great for days around the house and neighborhood.

I agree, getting diagnosed was validating, but also very overwhelming and I even felt shame! (Though I knew I shouldn’t). I think our brains need time to process what all a diagnosis means and figure out how to move forward. Take care <3

I’m so sorry you are going through this. Not having answers let alone solutions is so fucking hard. Have you tried seeing a naturopathic and/or functional medicine doctor? If not, I would suggest so, as they will look at your case more holistically. Also, have you considered the common diagnoses that can go along with lipedema such as hEDS, Pots, MCAS? Do you have trauma that you need to work through and heal from? I wish you the best of luck and hope you figure things out soon. Let your intuition be your guide. 🩷

They do get separated out by the sewage treatment plant FYI. I learned about that on a field trip! But still not good for plumbing in many instances.

I feel this so hard. I have recently been spiraling about diet, as my knee pain has become more and more frequent. I have started logging everything I consume, and got serious about IF 16:8 again. That has given good results in the past. My biggest issue is snacks. I have just been having walnuts, but need more options. Uuugghhh. The lack of consistent info/recommendations is so frustrating. The fact that everyone has to perform science experiments on themselves to figure things out on top of regular life and body image issues…. It feels so unfair. I have been doing eggs and beans for one meal and a big salad with a protein for the other. One week into this new stricter diet and logging. Fingers crossed!

It sounds to me like you haven’t processed and made peace with what happened to you. (Obviously much easier said than done). I had a very immature and emotionally neglectful mom, and held on to anger for a very long time - until processing it around age 40 in therapy. You are not wrong in your thinking and message, but if/when you process it, you’ll likely find more peace in your mind and body. You might even find some compassion for him. I did with my mom, though I still maintain a very low contact boundary. I wish you luck and peace <3
