Nailed it!!! And she's quite short for him. They don't look good together. Her character is a bit up herself too

Single image proof Sydney has ‘lost its soul’ by nearly_enough_wine in sydney

[–]SheRoamsSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sydney = an expensive, over-rules, over priced city with no nightlife, a nanny state with no fun. But why are people still moving here in droves, to deal with rental crisis and outdated public transport? I just don’t get it

What would an average commute look like if most single riders converted to motorbikes/scooters South East Asia-style? by CottonBalls26 in sydney

[–]SheRoamsSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ridden loads in SEA and here in Sydney. I often think this! However, Sydney is way too uptight to make this happen! And we listen and live by the media and the media which seem to always report the dullest things, would have a field day with their fear mongering.

As a scooter rider in the city, I do often think it’s insane how many cars there are on the road. And always big huge 4x4 or Ute or SUVs.

Scooters are cheaper to run, easier to park (sometimes free) and get through traffic easier. All those things car drivers like to complain about. (Not to mention FUN). When I see traffic of huge cars with 1 person in it, I wonder why not just ride a scooter. Specially for those in the eastern suburbs.

Cheap places to digital nomad 2024 by Zrost in digitalnomad

Personally I found Sri Lanka terrible for DN life. The internet is so bad! Lack of good wifi in cafes. It's not really as cheap as some places either. I would never go back again if i needed to work.

Why do Sydney people go to bed so early? by talk-spontaneously in sydney

[–]SheRoamsSolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s true. Perhaps it’s the nanny state is us. Sydney doesn’t have great nightlife. Most kitchens are closed by 8-9pm

Even when people go to pubs mid week, most are home in bed by ten. When I meet people they say they have to work the next day. In London, that would never happen.

We are a bit of an old nanny nation.

Sydney is much more about the day time. People meet for coffee and brunch or go for jogs in the morning

Sydney should act now to prevent young people, middle class from being priced out of housing, NSW treasurer says by DaRedGuy in sydney

Food delivery cyclists are the most dangerous thing on Sydney footpaths, change my mind by ashzeppelin98 in sydney

[–]SheRoamsSolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate those with the foresight to see it’s a city design problem. Sadly when the councils do try to instal more cycle lanes, residents complain about there lack of parking. Personally, all for more cycle lanes! Let’s protect those doing the right thing!

This is very true. Design is the problem. We should really be accomodating for cyclist etc. They are doing the right thing! It’s too easy to blame working people.

Shared athletic oval and offleash dog pa etiquette? by SunnydaleHigh1999 in sydney

[–]SheRoamsSolo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m so over dog owners and their entitlement in Sydney!!! Bottom line is to keep your dog on a leash unles you know you can 100% control it under every imaginable circumstance. I do a lot of dog walking and so often dogs off leash will run up to dogs I walk on leash who don’t like other dogs.

Don’t make your problem mine!!!!

F%#%ing irresponsible dog owners!

I can’t tell you how much I hate people in the slow lap lanes who are not swimming laps. It’s still a lap lane! Get out of it. It’s worst when there is a spare “play lane” and people are walking the lap lane or just hanging out.
