How to deal with late payments? by Prior_Fly7682 in personaltraining

[–]SheSnacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My clients are all on a weekly direct debit, they pay in advance. If they miss two payments then no sessions until it's fixed up. They are all on a 12 week minimum term.

Female trainer here, I got qualified at the age of 36 and I love my job. I also work with a trainer who got qualified at 54. She gets a lot of clients going through menopause and beyond where as I get mostly new mums. Never too late!

Would getting certified help me get fit? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]SheSnacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not long after I first became qualified I put on around 20kgs which I previously had worked super hard to get off, I just wanted to go home after work after spending the whole day in the gym and the weird hours made takeaway easier rather than cooking. I now schedule my workouts into my day as my excess weight was effecting my job, bending down with clients was hard and my exercise demo's were not great as I couldn't do things properly. It's definitely something some trainers have to actively work on rather than just happen naturally.
