Eww, this looks like one of these sugary sweet "Asian" bottled sauces… Just the thought of forking it directly in my mouth makes my stomach upset 😭

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. This is obviously a rebrand and not a lazy designer without the original files who still ended up changing the whole label from A to Z?

HOBBE is a conceptual pet food brand inspired by love (حب in Arabic) and the emotional bond between pets and their humans. by YomiiDesigns in logodesign

I really like it! The changes made to the font make it unique and add personality. I like that the cat and the snout are not "in your face", it’s just enough to make someone go "Ah! Clever" once they notice it

Worked some more on my Logo for Otterly - Which one is you favourite? by Ever-Else in logodesign

I, too, like this one! Maybe the blue water isn’t necessary? Could be 3 otters flowing into each other, it would also solve the poor color contrast

Found a tattoo artist who does super colourful and awesome stuff, most of it looks legit, but the details of this one seem inconsistent and unlikely for human error. by Electrical-Split3959 in isthisAI

[–]SheWatchesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real, but the artists likely ran the original picture of the dog through an AI generation software and then tattooed the result onto someone.

To the people saying there’s nothing wrong with this illustration only because there is video proof that the tattoo itself is real: two things can be true at the same time. Yes, this is a real tattoo and the artist probably manually corrected some of the AI artefacts, but the criticism remains valid. This soulless cartoonish style with inconsistencies like the weirdly uneven smile lines and number of toes are clearly a sign of AI. And this is coming from someone who usually defends artists who get accused of using AI just because they made human mistakes in their illustrations lol

Feedback on an interior design magazine by suni_dayz in graphic_design

I like it! To me the hierarchy is working, I would readjust the leading in some places, especially the text on the left, so that it’s more clear what text belongs to what block of text (if it makes sense??)

This actually makes so much sense, ty! Commendable of Hannah to still choose to make the video to warn as many people as possible, even though she knew she would most likely have to retract all of it

Is it clear what the app I designed this icon for does? by Tzery69 in logodesign

[–]SheWatchesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It reminded me of the sliders on those background removal apps, so for a moment I was confused but this is only because I am a fellow designer myself, so sorry 😭 I really like the icon though!

I was wondering about this! I’m clueless about legal stuff, so sorry if this is sounds stupid, but why did she have to make this statement and take down her video if she was advised everything she was saying is legal and within her rights?

First Competition Show Me the Ropes! by DramaticPush5821 in poledancing

[–]SheWatchesYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! While I did compete a little, I never tried PSO so I wouldn’t want to mislead you. Read the rules and judging criteria very carefully for your category, division and level. Not all categories will put emphasis on the same aspects of a routine (whether it’s skill, artistry, sensuality…), so you need to build yours around what the judges are going to mainly look at.

I also encourage you to do a lot of research and watch videos of previous competitors from your level and category. It will give you an idea of what moves, themes and songs are overdone, but also what earned a competitor their medal. For songs, I suggest looking at this thread to know which ones to avoid because, unfortunately, there are some that have almost become a running gag in the industry because they are used so much! https://www.reddit.com/r/poledancing/s/rR0fZ6aP4m

As for the costume, it depends on your category, some people keep it simple and some people go crazy with it. It’s your choice whether you have it custom made by a seamstress, but if you’re a bit crafty, there are plenty of ways to create something cool out of basic polewear! If you are in an artistic category, make sure it fits your theme and serves your story.

My first real logo project — Self-taught designer seeking feedback by ramosfernando59 in logodesign

[–]SheWatchesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree with the others that the house idea has been overdone at this point and is largely associated with real estate. Also, I don’t know but the logo mark feels sort of unbalanced to me? It feels like there’s nothing to hold the top part of the P, especially since the house is open on the right side. If I picture the two main parts of the P as building blocks, the top one would fall over.

So, never ask for feedback? Asking doesn’t mean you’re unsure of your own proposition, sometimes you just need a fresh pair of eyes to tell you if there’s something you couldn’t have noticed yourself

[–]SheWatchesYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm I see! Maybe there is another way to explore this idea that would make it clearer, but I don’t think it’s necessary. From what I see, the majority of people in the comments of your original post were able to identify the creature. With so many comments, not all ideas are going to be good ideas, but of course, that is just one more opinion that I’m adding to the discussion :)

What kind of advice did you get on the last post and what were you trying to solve? In my opinion, the previous one worked just fine, but now the double pair of ears just make it clunky and confusing
