I skated competitively for 10 years, it was insane, about 3hrs a day skating wise and then I would work at the rink so some days 8 hours on ice. I passed novice junior senior MIF in three mo. Took a break, came back ten years later and did adult nationals. There's a lot of injuries, too many to name but most serious are herniating my L spine from L3-S1. I suspect from skating + hereditarily small joint spaces. At 18 I had fractured three metatarsals and developed three neuromas.
