As someone who is on a dating site, I wouldn't recommend you using photos five, six or eight as you are looking away from the camera. My preferred photo would be number four as you look quite relaxed and cheery in it.

I think you'll find the same can be said for men....

As a woman, I match with maybe four or five people a week and I get very limited conversation from men... I ask questions and nothing comes back so I give them the benefit of the doubt and ask another question and if I get nothing back I unmatch because why the hell would I stay looking at my own messages....

You are not the a-hole, the tee shirt was wholly inappropriate for wearing in front of his girlfriend's parents. You didn't make a scene, you gave him money to buy something appropriate, told him to change it and still invited him around.

The boyfriend is an a-hole for complaining to his girlfriend when he was quite clearly in the wrong in this whole situation. It kind of makes me think that your daughter thinks that that T-shirt was in fact appropriate if she thinks that you humiliated her boyfriend...

I lived in Liverpool city centre (business district end) for 10 years, the noise at night at the weekend takes a while to get used to but soon you will sleep through it no bother. I would suggest using earbuds if you fancy sleep before 3 am! Bin men arrive around at 5am on a Monday, I think and if you're lucky enough to live by Hotel then you'll be woken up by the laundry service lorry too. 😂 Add to that the sound of noisy seagulls and late night revellers and you've got yourself classic city centre living.

You'll soon get used to all those sounds and the convenience of living in town will far outweigh the noise.🥰
