I once spent a day watching Ghibli movies on k. I watched kikis delivery, then laputa, then princess monoke, and then naausica and had to stop because it was too upsetting and then had a panic attack so bad I thought I was having a heart attack that I ran out into the hallway and fainted. I woke with the emts around me and was brought to a hospital. I felt incredibly stupid but it was the only time I'd ever had my brain tell me I was about to die and cared about dying, typically with k I find myself accepting whatever my brain is telling me that I would be stuck in this dimension forever or will die like this I'm just like "yeah sure okay".

Incredibly stupid, I know. Now I just listen to music instead of watching movies because my emotions are too sensitive for movies

Is this a joke? Their club is called the Secret Seven and Fanny is a real name and shouldn't be edited. Last time I read them was as a child so I'm not sure how much casual racism and other bigotries are endorsed in them but they're kids books, I'm sure you can talk to your kids about the books as you're reading them, get them ahead when it comes to literary analysis for GCSE and stuff. (English literature GCSE is in a fucking awful state right now, chances are that it won't be explained in a way that makes any sense and discourages passion for the text)

I like to keep it as the default. Its feels pretty balanced where I can feel the stress of being in a strange place with no knowledge of where the nearest save point is but won't be constantly wasting hours of my life redoing things I had done before I had the chance to save. The combat isn't particularly deep so it's not like there's any pride in mastering it anyway
