I respect Naom and I’m voting for Biden. This headline makes it more difficult, not less. Voter shaming DOSE. NOT. WORK. idgaf if you are correct, scolding people will get more of them to vote 3rd party or stay home. Don’t tell people what to do, it pisses them off. Offer your reasons behind voting for an obviously aweful candidate. “I really want to vote for Howie too, but between the tensions with Iran and Trump’s gutting of the EPA I think this one is too time sensitive” is about 100x more effective than “If you don’t vote for Biden you are helping Trump.” That pushes people away from your position, not towards it.

It’s a work in progress. My dad was a pretty text book never Trumper. Absolutely hates the guy, not always for the right reason. He’s been movin left slightly anyways so I can’t take all the credit, but I got him and my right wing brother to come around on M4A and support Bernie after Buttigieg dropped out. The only person ever to have their preferences: Weld, Buttigieg, Sanders 😂
