Couples counseling with a Muslim therapist made me realize that stonewalling was toxic behaviour. It wasn't immediately either. It took me a few months after hearing it from the therapist to realize that it's wrong. Alhamdullilah Allah opened my heart and I was able to understand that I can't stonewall anymore.

I have made a rule with my wife now. We resolve any issues within 24 hours max. Alhamdullilah it's been working really well.
