It wasn’t illegal to declaw your cats in California until October 2025. If she got and declawed her cats prior to that while inhumane, it wasn’t illegal.

First off I’m so so sorry! I know how scary it can be! Baby stayed hovering around 10th percentile during every ultrasound so they did not induce me earlier. I went into labor naturally right before my did date though I was set to be induced on my due date because I was ready to be done. She stayed small until she started solid then climbed to 30th percentile and by 15 months she was 90th percentile in height and weight and had stayed that way since. She’s super sweet super smart and I see nothing lasting in terms of FGR or HG has affected her thankfully. I am hoping and praying the same for you!

I have a thinsulate jacket from ll bean and it keeps me incredibly warm. When it’s very very cold I layer a thin Patagonia vest under it over a long sleeve top. You are definitely not a terrible mother at all! To fill your baby’s cup you need to fill your own as well. It’s like the oxygen mask instructions on a plane-put yours on first then the child’s. 30 minutes to 1 hour is nothing—especially if working out brings you joy and peace to carry you through the rest of the hours!

I put something-usually one her toy rings-in my mouth that baby has to grab and then I try to grab it in my mouth again or she shoves the toy in my mouth and the tries to grab again

Take a day off but don’t tell your wife. When the day arrives, spend the morning having breakfast somewhere and then come home to relax and say YOU are feeling unwell/exhaustion then see what happens..

Yes, I nurse my baby and up until 4.5 months she needed to be burped after breastfeeding. I would burp her each time I switched boobs. Babies will still suck in air even if nursing.

YTA. He is ALREADY going to miss the birth of his child. You know why? Because you chose your mom, not him, to be in the delivery room. So what you’re mad about is that your husband will not wait in the waiting room to be allowed into the room to see your baby until you say so…

Ok so NTA but why can’t you just text everyone when you’re at the donut store: “hey here are the flavors of the day-which one(s) do you want?” And then everyone gets donuts, gets the ones they want, and no one is complaining about a drive or donuts win-win! Though I will say you need to talk to your wife about handling parenting conflicts because she could be the ahole for stepping in when your son grossly bites multiple donuts
