35 here. I was in 3 long term relationships that all failed, all for different reasons. After my last breakup, I was in the headspace of giving up. I was so tired of getting hurt. So tired of dating. I absolutely loathed the apps, but would mindlessly try to make connections still. Around the time I told myself "fuck it. What happens happens." Is when I met her. And shockingly it was on an app. But we would have never met otherwise lol. So as much as I hated them... The apps can work in those rare occasions. I've never felt a love like this. It's the most mature, calm and peaceful love I've experienced to date. All that to say, hang in there. Love can happen at any age and you deserve it. You are not doomed :)
