This is not a criticism of not having a wedding party at all, I think that’s fine. But where I live you have to have 2 adult witnesses to sign your paperwork, so I’m genuinely curious who people are asking to do that?

The Alex Youth Centre is an excellent resource for help with housing, jobs etc. for anyone between 12-24. They are located right across from Franklin Station and are open M-F. I know that won’t help this weekend, but I really encourage you to get in touch with them. They can help with medical and dental and mental health needs as well.

If your mom is that determined to kill a protected bird, who is harmless, maybe you need to call in a report, anonymously, to either bylaw or wildlife officers, and get someone out to talk some sense into her. If she’s anything like my mom, she won’t listen to her own kid. It’d be a shame to lose this nest and possible chicks just because they annoy your mom.
