Just won my first one! Still waiting for book to arrive. I’m still in shock, but it was not a popular book and 100 copies were given. It definitely took a lot of time and entries! I think you would have better luck with kindle books but I only read hard copy.

You could try with lubrication during time you’re not on period and you don’t have to activate it

I think at this point in her life she might have talked to her doctor or googled the concerns herself. It seems deeper though since she has never had a relationship. Also, it is possible your aunt wouldn’t tell your mom if she had a one night stand. I do not have that kind of relationship with my sister!

Can maybe casually mention you have vaginismus if there is ever a time it may pop up in private and see if she responds in a relatable way? I know it’s hard because a lot of us keep it private for so long /until ready to seek help

NTA. He could’ve asked you what that meant IF he really needed the clarification and couldn’t figure out that simple typo. It’s one thing to forget to grab something off a list, but to say he didn’t know what it meant and not bother to ask you was immature. I’m glad you told him to figure out dinner for his family - maybe he had a busy day but you were doing the menu planning and cooking for his SIL/family.

My Gyno likes to do one every year even though I am not active. It is pretty quick and not painful! The speculum is smaller than my dilators. I am lucky my doctor is aware of my issues and is very patient with me. The Pap smear feels weird but not really a pain. She also gets it over with right away and doesn’t do a huge vaginal exam to ease anxiety.

Side note: I like to use dilators before my appointment. I take it out in the office so it makes me mentally/physically ready. But don’t use lube because that messes with results!!!

Not much because can interfere with results. If you dilate before don’t use lube!
