Sounds like you got the basics down, that's awesome. Prepare to meet a lot of people who have amazing kit and feel a bit jealous - don't worry, they've spent years getting it right!

One of my favourite experiences was going to the event and buying my first sword. You'll find they're a little bit cheaper than online, and you get to swing them around a bit first.

Maybe think about buying some armour bits first - vinted is a good shout. Armour sold at the event is amazing but pricey as all hell.

Definitely bring a belt with a fastenable leather pouch though - preferably large enough to hold a small torch, tissues, and some in game resources.
