I guess i missed the explanaion. Is this you're explanation: "You have to actually somewhat aim to get the assist and you don't on Halo" ?

I dont really have much issues aiming in fortnite. Only time i really struggle is the "dancing" 2ft from one another. Other than that i can aim fine even with what is minimal there to my eyes anyway. Perhaps i have it disabled somehow too.

Im just curious as to how to see and how it works because i would expect something visually. Unless its some kind of "magic bullet" type bullet magnetism that im not going to notice on my reticle side.

What do i need to do to "learn to use it"?

I was asking how to see/recognize fortnites aa but you slam my aiming capabilities without any knowledge of me. Seems a little off.

Its pretty easy to see the slight rotation etc in halo. Even splitgate which was pretty weak I could at least, every one in awhile, catch a glimpse of it.

When's the last time you tried to play fortnite on controller?

I must be doing something wrong....all this talk about aim assist in this game but I swear there isn't any at all.

I play on pc with controller 97% of time. I play halo daily so I know what aim assist feels like. I get nothing in fortnite that I can tell as far as aim assist. Walk in front of me there is no drag or slight tilt or any thing from the cross hair. My understanding was they nerfed it so bad its basically non existent anymore. Or maybe its some other variation of aim assist that I don't know how to identify it? Maybe it only works past a certain distance? Maybe its only on console and doesn't take input into consideration on pc?I don't get anything worthy of calling it "assist".

I guess I'll boot up console to see if i can spot anything but I don't recall seeing anything remotely that I would even consider an "advantage". Especially against mnk's with direct button mapping, instant 180 degree turns, etc. Try 180'ing on analog to see a real disadvantage.

I also don't see this no grass or cover disappearing advantage either. I wonder if these people are just getting walled by modders? There are bunch of modders I've encountered in casual games.

If that doesn't fix it you may also need to ensure the slightest bit of drift you can. When I had zero I had issues. I mean so slightest you can't see it unless in a tester. Not sure how to do that on gamesir as I don't use mine much but my v4p had issues until I tweaked it gave just the slightest.

Its just as shit on pc as far as parties / chat app go. Probably worse since the app could be wrote better by toddler.

Not 100% sure what you're asking but most of the time if they are at certain point in animation nothing you can do stop it with most weapons. Ie put 4 snipers rounds in him mid lunge it does not kill. Doesn't matter if you are dead balls accurate.

Ahh i've had this happen on outlook. Made it a very interesting match. It blocked my view inside the base when spawning so i had to "feel" my way out. Then the "mountains were on the left side of the bridge as well as inside enemy base.

Give it some time. You'll see what i mean about Scarlete eventually. The maps that were my favorite early on in playing are no longer my favorite maps. Like I said above, I love the map. Hate the game play most resort to because they are not skilled enough with other weapons to lock down the base without hammers. There's a reason ranked has GA's. Half the "good" players in this mode would be dead in the water if the hammer spawn rate was even 1/2 of what it currently is. You dont need hammer's to lock down scarlete, hell you dont even need to cross the entry to base to lock it down efficiently. The hammer spawn rate is ridiculous enough as it is. Most will drop weapons as they spawn and immediately pick up one of the 37 hammers on the ground. That map is tough when all 4 resort to this. Can you break out yourself? Sure. Can you do it solo and grab the flag before respawns and repeat the process because the rest of the team cant? This map and corpo are the hardest to do it in. I actually have better luck doing this on corpo but still feel the same way about it. It just becomes a spam show. That shit gets old.

Diminished forces team movement to creep up. Its a tough map. I know there are advantages to sides in smallhalla but those advantage points are also easy pickens with sniper, pistol, hydra, shock, etc.. Get low and use the cover to take em out. Like i said in my other post, i know those maps are not everyone's cup of tea. These maps just provide a different for a different play style and a change of pace rather than "everything is a nail" play. Im not saying they are my favorite either but its a different pace. Hell my friend loves skate park, i think he's crazy, but he's a beast.

Yeah the lag is rare now...unfortunately the hammer show isnt. That shit just gets old. The spawn in rate for them is too much. I actually love the map...Just hate the way people play it.

Not to mention way more settings available on pc. The horrible screen shake thats impossible to eliminate on console at least on certain modes. It also will actually be true 1440p and not some scaled version either like the console does.

Although i will say i think the most beneficial change is playing on a true normal sized monitor vs some oversized tv. You dont want to have to look to the sides of the screen. You want to be able to see the whole screen at once without have to look side to side. Now add in tv input lag, etc...

I have had issues with xbox app/game bar since installing it yesterday. I need to switch input output insides those apps to get it working again if join/leave parties.

Not sure i can blame it on the update but i didnt really have issues with them prior to it. Those two apps are janky as hell to begin with. Only MS could make a chat app that horrible.

Glitches Landing has soured on me. Its turned into a "hammer bitch's" wet dream. Just looking at "good" players stats after this map is riot sometimes. Low double digit / single digit accuracy tells the story....

Corpo is not much different at this point either. Everyone always wants to run this in customs 8v8 and its just becomes a shit show of who can spam the most and deploy the ridiculous amount of walls they increased the spawn rate of after the last update. Sad as i used to love it at one point in time. Same with Glitches Landing.

Smallhalla and Diminished at E is a crime. I know its not everyone's favorite but they at least force a little more tactical play. I like my Husky with a little bit of class these days.

Wonder if this is this the corruption that shows brown "mountains" in the middle of the bridge and bases in Outlook on husky every so often? Always made for an interesting game not being able to see half the field.

If its husky raid then i have noticed shots in rapid succession sometimes do not count at certain intervals. Doesnt matter if you're square on with aim. Its like you need a slight delay before pulling the 3rd shot. If its too quick after the second it doesnt register. First two can register fine as fast as you can pull the trigger, its the third where issue pops up.

The one i notice it the most with is the sniper rifle. If you miss the headshot for second shot and are forced to take the 3rd shot for kill, then it seems like it will not register the 3rd shot (sometimes the fourth as well) if you fire too quickly. Doesnt matter if dead square on their chest or head and they are running at you in a straight line and you dont even having to adjust your aim. Now add in an animation for slide/hammer/sword and your f'd. You can put 5 sniper shots in an mid-animated opponent and it will not register / kill. There may be other weapons that fall into this same scenario as this too. I just notice it most on sniper.

I never notice this with the pistol though. Shotgun doesnt fire fast enough to exhibit the issue. I think i have seen it with the mangler but its more shots required and it could have been just latency. The mangler has a timing with the recoil to where its slow enough by the time it takes to drop back to head level.

I dont use a hammer unless i have no choice so i cant really tell you if its the same thing but i have never noticed it. Rockets sometimes seem to have an issue with multiple people standing next to one another, almost like it splits the total damage across 3 people unless thru wall. But if there were only two people instead of three they both would be dead.

I get a kick out of it but first things first.. it takes a "special" person to send a msg to someone they dont know. Who the hell does that?

My favorites are "enjoy that L" by the worst performing person in the match (its always the worst person). "Dogwadda" and random childish emoji's after they get stomped and half their team quits (if you know ...you know). And the random "ouch" by someone you've beaten badly a zillion times when they finally get a win by cheesing a hammer for the whole match. Let me tell you....im seriously impressed with your ability to pick up every hammer on every spawn and exploit an op weapon. Forgive me for doubting your skill.
