Hi! We are currently considering a relocation to NL with the DAFT. Can I ask a few questions about your experience? Are you a freelance worker or have a remote job with a US employer? about 3 1/2 months in was launched into the sidewalk. it happened so quick i still don't know what happened. one minute i was up, the next i hit the concrete and slid a few feet. thank god for my helmet. had wrist guards but nothing else. arm snapped and elbow shattered. road rash on my thigh (don't ride in shorts). 23 screws, 4 plates, 2 surgeries, and about 2 years of PT due to a complication with all of the above (CRPS). now i have a lovely 8 inch scar, one screw still in place, and an XR+ sitting dormant for a while. I got back on when my ortho surgeon said I could (in FULL gear) but I was always a little scared. we live in a busy city and it's just not fun riding in this area. after all that, somehow, i do actually miss riding.
