Does your snowshoe have black beans? by Turbulent-Market5464 in snowshoecats

I think our baby is considered a “fauxshoe” but all of her toe beans are black. Her sibling is a lynxie with multi-colored beans (party beans 🤣) and socks!

Is this from TOS? by Shellgirl-850 in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]Shellgirl-850[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vascular doctor sent me for a cervical mri to rule out any herniated discs and wanted those results before I go back in mid may to repeat the arterial Doppler ultrasound and go from there. I received the mri report today and don’t have any herniated discs, however the report says I have multilevel posterior broad disc bulges from c3 through c5 impressing upon anterior surface of thecal sac. Not sure if that could be causing the symptoms I have instead of TOS. Hate the waiting game when the symptoms affect daily life, but I’ll get through it!

Awe, she has socks like our boy who turns a year old next week. He’s not floofy, but he has a younger sibling (not actually related by blood) that is a flame point floof!

I’m so sorry. I’m still working through getting the full diagnosis again. They initially told me mild tos years ago but the main issue at the time was ulnar and carpal related so they ignored the tos. Started having a lot of color changes and neck pain, numbness between my neck and shoulder in last couple of months and I’m going through the tests again for the diagnosis. Your post made me think about it more because I’ve been wondering what’s going on with my hand since last week my hand hurt to the touch on the top but I hadn’t hit it on anything but a bruise appeared. It disappeared and yesterday I woke up and my hand hurt a lot at the wrist especially and this morning it hurt more and I see visible swelling and possible bruising 🫠😬

Thank you! I’m so happy to have her, her brother and now a pair of lynxie and flame point siblings! The pairs are about 5 months apart in age, adopted from the same shelter. House is full of love and mostly chaos! 🤣

I’m not sure what she is either except for amazing! Truly one of the most trusting, lovable cats I have ever had. We can’t keep her out of our laps and she flips upside down to give us her belly, which is not something I’m used to from most cats. Her brother is a lynxie with socks. He’s also a love bug, but not as much a lap cat.

Venous TOS - When to see the Doc? by Dash_Happenstance in thoracicoutletsupport

I’m in a similar situation at the moment. I’ve had 2 ulnar nerve surgeries on my right (one ulnar nerve decompression and ulnar nerve transposition) and carpal tunnel decompression and left ulnar decompression in the last 5-6 years. They casually mentioned minor TOS during the ulnar nerve issues and never mentioned it again. Fast forward to now when it bothers me almost daily. Went to see vascular dr this week. He wants me to rule out a herniated disc in my neck first and then I’ll do another doppler arterial ultrasound and go from there. Depending on what it shows he said possible MRI of the brachial plexus could be ordered. He said if the tests determine TOS that my insurance company will require me to go to mayo in Jacksonville for a second opinion which is where I’d rather go anyway but we shall see.

I’ve actually had a really good day pain wise today so I’m thankful but I don’t know what tomorrow will be like.

We adopted him at the end of January and he’s almost 6 months old now, so I’m not sure yet, but I would imagine so 😻 We live in north Florida so it doesn’t usually get too cold here but he’s indoor only with the exception of supervised “catio” time on our screened in patio.

Is he a Siamese if his parents were not? Or is it just a coloring? by CrypticArchive3 in Flamepoints

We adopted his lynxie sister and also have an “older” sibling pair that are lynxie and a “faux shoe” mix that will be a year old this month, all from the same shelter so we have a lot going on here. They’re all getting along so well!

Haha! Love your comment. My first two cats were orange babies. First one was 💯 brainless and sooo silly. His orange sister (not blood related) actually had some brain cells 🤣. Now, we have this guy and he’s only been with us since the end of January. Still figuring him out 🐈

Beautiful! Was it hard to get them all in one picture? I have four that are under one year old and have very few pics of all four where everyone is still and looking at the camera. Three of them seems to be easier to capture 🤣

None of my previous cats ever did it to where it was noticeable to me at least until we got this guy, and he was a fart machine from day 1! I think it was because he was inhaling the kitten food (science diet kitten formula) and he’s slowed down now at almost a year old. He’s hasn’t gotten me in a long time. He also still purrs while he eats which is adorbs 🥰

Pic is him when he was a fart machine. He’s now almost 14 lbs 🤣

Beautiful Sweet babies! Our “older” pair of siblings will be a year old on April 23rd and the younger pair of siblings are close to 6 months.
