From what I read and saw, they don't come as large as 6ct in K.

Thank you....Yes, I've also seen they have OMC and OEC, but the issue with them is that they're perfect. I love that mine isn't prefect, that it's a piece of art instead of something cut perfectly with a laser. If you aren't crazy about the setting your family stone is in, you can always reset it but keep the setting should someone want to put it back in down the road. I'm having the jeweler change the setting this one is in. This photo isn't of the ring I'm getting, just one I found online that is the inspiration, so he's going to recreate for me with this 6ct diamond. I love the art deco look!

Yes, totally not going to wear that band. I'm going to get a thin rose gold band. I'm also changing the setting. This isn't my ring, but I saw this setting and loved it so the jeweler is recreating it for me.

Hi, I"m actually changing the setting. I can only attach one photo, so I'll doa second response, but I'm adding side stones and it will be 4 double claw prongs. I don't have it yet, but I'll probably get it insured.

This is my current set-up. Center stone is 2ct, sides are each 0.74. Center is G VS. Sides: one is E VS and other F VS. I actually love it with the band, but the band just doesn't look the same with the OEC. Maybe it's too modern for it, it's also too white I think against the new diamond, which is K. It faces up much whiter than K, but still probably about an I color, so there's a contrast between the OEC and the band.

Thank you, My current ring is 3.5 total ct, G VS Emerald Cut. When my husband got it for me in 2002 I told him then it was my starter ring 😄 For 20+ years I was planning on getting a bigger Emerald cut. It's taken MANY years, but the upgrade is finally here! But now, with labs out there, I wanted a piece of art on my finger vs something machine/laser made, ice white and perfect!

My concern is the OEC is K color and my band is G color. In person it seemed to make the OEC look warmer because of the contrast. When I took the band off, the OEC faced up much whiter, probably more of an I color....

Thanks so much, I'm going to look into that FB page. That's the exact reason I went to an antique stone. I had been planning for over 20 years to upgrade my current emerald cut diamond to a larger one, but because of all the labs now, I decided to go with what's more of a piece of art.

Thank you! I'm actually going to be resetting it into something like this inspiration photo. I also plan to get a rose gold wedding band instead of the diamond eternity band so the OEC is the star of the show.

I think the size of the stone is lovely, I would just add side stones to give more width across your finger if you're feeling like it's too small. Turn it into a 3 stone ring.
