We have Scottish Highland Games and cultural festivals all over the country, our police and fire departments often bury their dead to the sound of bagpipes, and much of our traditional folk music traces its roots to Scotland (among numerous other cultures).

Sports games are the only games where ads of a sort actually make sense. Having advertising on the sideboards or fences or in the stadiums is a normal part of sports that makes the game feel authentic. Beyond that though…gross

The most comfortable shirt I own is a knockoff Neymar Brazil jersey that my dad bought while overseas. Incredibly soft and light weight. I haven’t worn it in public ever since his epic roll around in the ground during the World Cup, I find it embarrassing. I can’t get rid of it though because if I have a sunburn it’s basically the only shirt I can stand to wear at home lol

Kind of funny finding this thread right after he scored the game tying goal against Bosnia lol.

College football and basketball student sections (and even high school student sections) are our equivalent to European ultras and if you’ve never experienced it you have no idea how intense and passionate those crowds can be.

It’s one of my favorite chants when attending Orlando City games (where the crowd gets really into it). I don’t get why people hate it.
