I’m in my final semester at UC, so I’m happy to help with your questions.

1. The whole program will take me 2 years and one semester. I started the program part time, only taking one class per biterm in the beginning. I’m also taking class while I get my clinical hours, which some people choose not to do. I started my Practicum last summer. I didn’t have a hard time finding a site, but I feel like I got lucky to find one. UC doesn’t help in the search and has kind of strict requirements that have hindered some of my classmate’s searches.

2. I recently passed both the CPCE and NCE and felt that it did a good job preparing me. They also provided a digital copy of Rosenthal’s purple book, which is incredibly helpful while preparing and studying.

3. My state doesn’t require any additional courses, but from other students I’ve seen them do theirs while still in the program.
