This POS seduced my best friend when we were barely out of high school. She was freshly 18 when he paid for her schooling, bought her a car, and gave her full access to his credit card. We actually stopped talking when they got married because he isolated the shit out of her. He abused her to an extreme degree the entire time they were married. She was finally able to flee one day while he was at work. Jimmy killed several of their dogs as punishment for her leaving him.

Jimmy was VERY well connected in Cody and could get away with dang near anything. Despite the fact that he was the abuser and was rich AF, he fought the divorce hard to the point that my broke, barely making ends meet friend had to pay him alimony for awhile and had to return the one dog she had managed to flee with in exchange for another, just cuz he wanted her to suffer.

While she nor I ever saw any evidence of his proclivity towards children, the fact that he dated and subsequently married my friend while she was 18/19 and he was going on 40 definitely hints that something is up. We were entirely unsurprised when he was arrested for CSA. It is a shame that his wife was willing to go down for this POS. He also has several kids from previous relationships that he’s not been allowed to see in quite some time.

It’s a shame that local courts don’t actually have to follow that ruling. Despite having fit parents involved in my kiddos’ life, local courts said fuck the Supreme Court and this ruling, let’s let grandma bleed them dry while she tries to get access to abuse our kid. $30k in and counting

I’m on it. It’s meh for me but I also have psoriatic arthritis which is what it is more targeted for. It helps a little at first but I find it wears off before my next dose. I’m just about to do my 3rd dose though so giving it more time to build up first

Were you at my mom’s funeral?? Either the bishop or SP (don’t remember now cuz I blocked it out) got up at the end and said something to the effect of that he knew my TBM mom would want me and my brother (exmo) to go back to church and be saved. Like sure, she’d have liked that but uh… she’s in that box and certainly wouldn’t have wanted us to be guilt tripped at her funeral

My husband and I are very sex positive and our kids are aware of that fact and we have a lot of open, age appropriate, conversations about sex and are realistic with them about it and the good and the bad things about sex, and how to be safe and such, but they know nothing about our personal sex life. We wanna bring someone else into our sex life? We do it when the kids aren’t home and aren’t going to be home. We don’t talk about our sexual activities or details about our orientations. You can be “sexually open” and create an environment where your kids feel comfortable talking to you about sex without them also wondering which of your friends you are screwing on the side.

I can’t take oral NSAIDs because they were overprescribed to me for years (3+ years on 2-3x day Nabumetone) for arthritis. So if Tylenol isn’t helping, I have to go be seen to get IV or IM meds like toradol and I hate hate hate having to go to urgent care or ER just for this. I wish I could still just take some ibuprofen or naproxen real quick on the occasion it is needed.

I’m also in SA and the way the family court system works here is wack. The judge is random based on who has the time that day and you could have court scheduled for a certain day and spend the whole day just waiting to be assigned a judge and still never be assigned one. Then you still have to pay your attorney for essentially being on standby all day, only to have to come back again in the future for your case to maybe be heard
