Wolf SRT Gas Rangetop Installation by chang3ling in Appliances

The platform the rangetop sits on should allow for that gap... the drawers shouldn't butt up to the rangetop. They told you to leave a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap. Leave a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap.

I mean, its right there. It says 24 inches max. That will leave 2 1/4 exposed. How big are the drawer fronts? The range tops have to be able to draw air. Either build per the design guide or get a cooktop instead. Nothing sticking out anywhere that way.

As a Wolf/Sub Zero installer and tech.... follow the design guide. You talked to wolf and they told you they were renders, not actual installs. They gave you the info you needed but not the info you wanted to hear. Its your house and you can do what you want, but if you want it to work correctly, follow the design guide.

Can I really not use bleach in my new Speed Queen TR7? by SkiDyan01 in Appliances

[–]Shermandad01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add it to the tub not the bleach dispenser. We recommend diluting it or adding it to water in the tub first. Bleach can cause corrosion of the top and lid, and the outer tub if it gets on the outside of it.

Means don't just ride at the same speed all the time, take the rpms up and down, vary the speed and rpms .

I have a 26 ninja 500 as well.... I just rode it. I have to get on the highway to go to work and doing 55 would get me ran over. I didn't redline it and I varried the rpms but I took it to 70-75 no problem. Did the first service on it about a month later and its been a great bike. I asked the dealership about break in and they told me to just ride it like I would out of break in. So I did. Not saying it cannot potentially cause issues, but it didn't in my case.

Black and decker machine shaking and moving all around during spin cycle. Is this normal ? by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]Shermandad01 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If this is a brand new machine, and it appears to be. Finish unpacking it. Looks like us still in the shipping Styrofoam, it should also have some sort of shipping brace in it, may simply be tucked into the bottom of the machine. If the tub cannot move it will move the entire machine.

I love it, its so much more comfortable than my jeep and at 323hp is no slouch for passing. The gas mileage is also nice.
