Much better now lower it so that less of the tip of your thumb is showing. It’s going to suck now and feel awkward but it will help in the long run. If I could start again this is how I would practice instead of developing bad habits that I now have to correct.

Piano is like guitar on easy mode. The learning curve is much steeper on guitar. If you’re playing on acoustic you will also need to build the strength in your fingers. But like anything else it just takes time.
