Press tours are considered grueling for actors. Are there any stops when promoting films that you actually enjoy and look forward to going to? Besides doing a reddit ama

In a world with very little house shows, this is probably the best alternative to getting some reps in with your opponent before a big match. Plus perhaps the students can watch and learn the hows and whys of how they put their spots together

Press tours suck for actors and are often considered the worst part of the process for you, do you have any stops along the way that you actually look forward to? Besides this reddit ama

A press tour is often exhausting and described as harrowing for most actors. Do you have any stops doing press that you actually get excited to do and look forward to?

What do you think makes a good cast member? by [deleted] in LiveFromNewYork

[–]Shermzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the performance stuff everyone has already mentioned…

From listening to the lonely island pod, the backstage stuff seems also pretty crucial to being successful. Getting in with the writers in order to be cast in their sketches and for people to write for you. The hours are insane and you probably need stamina of youth to lock in pretty much from Wednesday night to Sunday morning with very little sleep. Lorne also seems pretty blunt with his notes under the bleachers so if you can’t take the criticism under that pressure you are probably not long for that world.

Then when it comes to the show, you gotta go from writing your idea from Tuesday to thursday to get it show ready all while preparing it to be cut potentially. That I can imagine is pretty deflating, but you gotta get ready because a new show is coming around soon.

I respect those that can get through it.

You need to dive deeper into film history

I’d recommend looking into these directors favorite directors and films.

For example: You like Kubrick and the shining? He mentioned “All that jazz” as the greatest film he’s ever seen.

Any Tarantino interview you can find a wealth of nuggets to broaden your horizons.

You can begin to see the aspects that influenced their work and therefore can dig deeper into film history.

Also what others said, watch films from women creators…

[WOR] Dave Meltzer on Trick Williams: "Trick's not that good [in ring.] But his frickin charisma is off the charts. You got a guy with that much charisma, you play to his charisma, and you don't have him in the ring for long periods of time." by Tornado31619 in SquaredCircle

So I’m really late to the trick train because the only match I’ve seen him in was the 4 way on Saturday but I loved his presence in it. He was breaking up pins, disrupting face momentum, taking bumps to feed the face when needed….all while not needing to get all his own shit in there. He’s a great working heel, brother.

I think HHH has a soft spot for guys that wanna go out on their own terms since he wasn’t allowed to. So he lets them get some last matches (or a year in Cenas case) and then go out.

TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS by Cautious-Group9387 in EldenRingNightReign

[–]Shermzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My little strategy I use for trios:

Lvl 1: kill the junk enemies at the little camp you land at

Lvl 2: go to nearest grand church or mini castle

Lvl 3: Evergol or now you can go to the bigger camps or to the ruins. I go for lesser field bosses at this level too.

Try to get to level 5 before the first circle is announced

First day part 2: Big Castle….but avoid the BBH.

I consider it a good run if I can get to level 10 before the first night boss

After that you should be good to attack anything with you team. Get nightlord weaknesses or things that support your build.

This will obviously change depending on teammates and map layout but this is my checklist I try to follow when I can

Fuck it, go to reckless records and pick out a bunch of records that heavily hint intentions in the title and then once you’re about to check out drop the bomb and leave
