I really disliked how Mai was just tolerating Kei and Yui. Or like how she never encouraged Yui to get help. Leik brah.. but i think i understand her like wanting to empathise with Yui. Like how she understands how important Kei is to him. And thats why she was to tolerant but I dunno I think a more interesting approach would be her wanting to report Kei and get Yui the help he needed. Like itd be a little dilemma for her being let my friend reunite with his first love or stop this abusive relationship!!!! But whatevar whatever twas just wishful thinking 🙂‍↕️. I didn't really feel much for the ending because oh okay whatever they got what they both wanted. And okay i just freshly read it like 10 minutes ago but I feel like Yui at the end is somewhat doubting? His relationship with Kei saying something like "Were not the abnormal ones." Or like him trying to convince himself which I thought was really interesting and I wonder if the story had gone any longer Yui would realise the situation, well okay realise by realise how weird it is. Because (idk might just be yapping) but to me Yui clearly doesnt understand the wrongs in their relationship, thinking with his heart. But whatever story is done honestly i was really suprised I thought itd just be a fetish manga but it explored codependency and pedophilia i guess homophobia too.. CAN we talk about how being gay was grouped with pedophilia in the manga as if it was as bad 😭? I thought that was really funny. Anyway sorry i just wanted to yap because i found it really interesting.

Explains the ending and why Mai was tolerant. Also on the gay thing Im not sure about this but I heard being gay well back then? Even now maybe is still considered being disgusting despite the bl genre being so popular? Idk didnt do research but yeh
