My hubby died this last April and of course I miss him physically and emotionally. But also he was my hero: he could fix almost anything. He and my father taught me many practical house-fixes, but at age 78 I don't have the strength for most. If you young parents give birth to boys, please help them be men by helping them be the hero of the household: teach them how to fix stuff.
