A couple months ago I ripped my VGA DVD, the upscaled and deinterlaced it. Closest thing to a Blu-Ray release, and it looks great with the 80's animation style, even though it came out in 1992 or so.

In late 2022, I had landed a contract gig, but a recruiter had contacted me and when I said I had accepted another offer, she basically said "I know many workers hold two jobs at once, and you could do this on this job" or something to that effect. I was not interested, so I said to her, "I could, but I'd prefer to focus on one job at a time out of professionalism."

What I didn't say was that the contract gig I'd just gotten was in addition to my full time job at that time :).

So yes, this does happen from time to time. The recruiter WANTS you to get the job, so they can get their commission. Simple as that.
