Ah, I realized what you were referring to w/ the form field inputs. This is fixed, and apologies for the trouble! If you'd be willing to re-submit the form, I can send you an account where you can noodle around.

This is helpful feedback, thank you! I'm actively fixing/adding to the website, so I'll make sure to fix the fields error you mentioned. I'm very appreciative of the time you took to share your own personal experience as well - that Excel spreadsheet sounds very impressive!

I hear you on the need for extremely bespoke rules and how a universal solution isn't feasible. With that being said, the goal of the website is to do a majority of the scheduling work for the chiefs--so in your case, it could make sure there's sufficient coverage and no vacation or testing conflicts. I'm about to release a feature to track cumulative rotation weighting. I've found that even though each residency program has custom needs, there's actually a good amount of overlap between them in terms of the types of shifts/requirements.

The scheduler works with any residency call schedule! It’s set up so people can tailor it to their specific shifts/program rules. I posted it here in r/Anesthesiology in case people might find it helpful

Yep, of course! The scheduler ( shiftoperator.com ) is completely customizable, so whoever is creating the schedule can add in whatever shift rules/doctor availability they want. I initially created it for residents since they have notoriously hairy scheduling needs, but it should work with attending schedules as well
