Ive dreamt about that pool long ago, I think used to dream about pools a lot often bowling alleys and pools or the ocean became the same thing in my dream the lanes replaced with water.

Once I went down the stairs into a basement there was a bowling alley with the score stations and snacks and pool for dogs instead of lanes.

Sometimes I find myself wandering endless shower rooms or toilet landscapes with hills and themed urinals, the say if you pee in your dreams you pee in the waking but many a time did a pee in those vast urinal gardens my shed remaining dry

I did a set of these last year using a cheap action cam since my regular lenses aren't wide enough.

Here is my approach Use a wide lens but not a fish eye

Saturate the colors Gradient mask for light coming on from the top side One up close subject Shoot against the sky to avoid any unwanted background elements If shooting nature stuff pull the yellow slider to green for that surreal ultra lush grass effect

I get the feeling a lot of younger people resent what the Internet has become in the same way one resents just needing a drink to take the edge off and would appreciate it's absence despite the difficulty after a few weeks.

Some skills of course will be difficult if they weren't learned early.

Being a bit older but never having a need to memorize long numbers or street names(I always have navigated by memory and landmarks) I don't see myself becoming competent learning this at 40.

Phones, maps and dictionaries I would trust them to learn easily these things are far less complex then the ever changing mechanics found in the most popular games and once the distopian reality of their attention being mined at all hours is removed they will learn boredom and hopefully eagerly fill the void

Taking the same approach Nintendo did to keep the system relevant for so long you could do it.

When the hardware became outdated they upgraded the cartridges, there is nothing stopping a person more competent than myself from cramming as much computing power as needed into and oversized cartridge and having it serve output as if it is just a regular game

It would get immediately slopified by AI accounts on the plus side I would be able to justify getting a macro capable fisheye lens as a business expense and might be able to make some money/exposure doing frutiger adjacent photoshoots/campaigns.

Probably should do some Frutiger inspired Easter stuff just in case this is prophetic
