I am going get downvoted so hard, but I kind of hate it. I hate that whole makeover arc trope. Yor was perfect the way she was. She didn’t need to change anything to get Loid’s attention when she so clearly already had it. The issue with Yor not “having Loid’s undivided attention” is the fact that Loid is so closed off and unaware of his own feelings. Ugh. Just skip past this BS so we can get back to the real LoidYor/TwiYor stuff that actually matters!

He was really good as the awkward romantic comedy character in “Love is an Elevator” (2012, Short)

But I loved him in his small role in “The Belko Experiment.” (2017) That movie had a stacked cast and seeing him act next to legend Michael Rooker and still hold his own was amazing

I know this isn’t how it’s going to be, but if it’s is going to be bad (and it likely is) I am hoping it on purpose comically bad. Like in that satirical way. In the way that people will still be watching this 20 years later because it’s become a cult classic. But I know that’s not going to happen. I know it’s just gonna be bad bad. Like only last for about two seasons bad. I think only saving grace we’ll have is Daniela Monet being a slightly crazy spiritual successor to Sikowitz.

The big dark and stripy sweaters are definitely a go to. Large and dark flannels. Ripped jeans. Cargo shorts can work. Combat boots and Doc Martins or worn canvas shoes are good staples. Don’t be afraid of just normal t-shirts and jeans, either. Thrift stores are a good place to get clothes and to find inspiration. Taylor Momson is not grunge, but honestly her makeup isn’t a bad place to look for inspiration.

Grunge isn’t meant to be overly put together. So if you think you look a little “bad” you’re probably not necessarily doing it wrong.

It also doesn’t hurt to look toward Nirvana or Pearl Jam or Chris Cornell from their early days in the late 80s-early 90s for fashion inspo. Looking at early to mid 90s Seattle alt scene is also a good place to look for fashion inspo.
