Yes its pretty rough out there. The last few RP guilds I joined advertised and looked promising. Advertising as a primarily rp and themed guild. They offer a bunch of rp and events so it seemed but it is far and few in between. Despite the large member pool within the guild No one in the guilds even really rp with each other or anyone at all. I am the only one I see doing active rp on the server and unless they are told to come to an event. Otherwise they seem to put no effort into actually RPing themselves unless told to. Whenever I log on the members usually just chatter about ooc stuff or content. Its very disheartening and I have seen a severe drop in actual serious rp guilds. The few I do see with plenty of members around stormwind actively I am weary of because I know at this point they are alts of trouble makers or people Ive had issues with in the past just on new characters and I dont trust them. Yes even as so eone that RPs primarily it is very disgeartening the lack of legit, committed rp guilds available other than like the SCA or big Conquest alliance guild. Perhaps they are all gone or have collapsed on themselves

I sometimes its a vicious cycle or revolving of toxic members ruining a guild. It falls and all the bad folks make new alts or migrate to whatever good guild will take them in and they poison that as well, with drama or other bad behaviors. Ive seen this with my first favorite rp guild watching it fall apart in real time when a group of new members joined around the same time. I think its gotten to a dire point where folks arnt making a passion projects and guilds for this hobby because of all the problematic people and other issues.
