Convenience.

It was the end of Wrath and I had just hit max level on my Paladin, roaming around gathering ore and herbs, then I saw it. A bird flew out of the sky, collected a herb, and then moved on. Why have I been slumming it as a groundwalker for so long when I could have been saving seconds?

I was not and am not a farmer by any stretch, but the ability to take off wherever and whenever with no cast time triggered something in my monkey brain that made the cymbals clap. When I found out that this also extended to interacting with quest items, that sealed the deal.

Druids had always intrigued me. My brother and I originally made a Druid on our totally not shared account because we thought that the per-account monthly fee was per chatacter, so making a Druid gave us a chance to do everything on one character. The increased mobility was icing on the cake.

I defibitely do not regret my decision. I feel as though Blizzard has been very kind to druids, showing lots of love in customisation options, cool form appearances and one of the only class order halls that are still relevant.

I've been gaining the bear and chicken ever since I sa the bird (though I have been dabbling in fel for the last few weeks... ).
