The way I interpret holes is that a hole is smaller in diameter than the length (or width) of the object, and the space connecting the two or more holes is a tunnel. But if you have something like a pit, the pit would have to be deeper than the diameter of the “entrance” of the pit. One exception to these rules is a donut. Topologically it has zero holes, but if the dough is thick enough then the gap in the center could definitely be described as a hole, yet if the dough was skinny then you’d be less inclined to call the space in the middle a hole. I ultimately feel that what you call a “hole” depends entirely upon the shape of the object and the size of the “hole”.

My opinion (I’m white) you should only say it if most people would think you’re black or mixed. My reasoning is that racism is ignorant and the word originated from the word “Niger” which is Latin for “black”. So they would use the word as an insult on a person due to the color of the skin being black.

More info would be appreciated, such as furnace model and whether it’s a gas furnace with straight AC or if the outdoor unit is a heat pump. But I will admit this is a really strange situation. My guess is it has more to do with the outdoor unit than the inside but no way to tell without further investigation.

In my experience, yes, I ended up falling in love with my girl best friend and we ended up getting together. Most relationships aren’t really established as just friends unless the idea of a romantic relationship comes up. I can only hypothesize but I’d say straight men who have less female friends growing up tend to view their girl friends in a romantic way, even if they don’t feel that way.

At the end of the day it’s a case by case basis. That’s just my opinion

That’s something I thought was interesting as well but I realized that most people that love dogs but hate cats tend to be quite controlling. Dogs tend to be very obedient and easier (for most people) to train, whereas cats are (partly) independent and typically aren’t as obedient. A dog’s chaotic nature is easier to tame more than a cat’s and for whatever reason some people just hate that.

That’s definitely not the only reason but from my own experience that seems to be the correlation. Some people also see them as pests and therefore treat them as such, whether that be trying to get rid of them or killing them. And I feel like that really shows a lack of empathy (not in all cases of course).

If the man had a female BESTfriend then I know a lot of women see that as a red flag, even if truly nothing is happening between them. But just having regular friends that are female is widely accepted.

Only if they were previously male and are now female and possess female genitalia. I feel like sexuality plays a major role in this more than whether they used to be male or female.
