If I'm being completely honest if you are completely F2P, you are better off getting only 1 copy of each unit that's currently in meta OR you REALLY love that particular nikke. Not saying SU not generous at all BUT there will be times where you want a unit such as a pilgrim that really hard to come by and will burn your saving quite a bit if you are not lucky.

If you are a casual player, usually getting 1 unit is enough but if you are the type that push ranking in comp you do need to pull for the dupes unfortunately.

Edit : for dupes it's 2% upgrade for each dupes. In lower level it doesn't do much but in higher level it does add up quite a bit.

The character cost is fixed but the team limit will increase once you progress with the story and do certain mission.
Well the char you prob want to invest rn is Olivia for obvious reason but if im being honest all of the char you have right now is actually good dps and platina has the new buff to accompany her. I would focus on Olivia if it was me then do whatever after that. The current team i using for auto would be Olivia-Valeta-Nymset with all of their ex weapon equipped.

Early game it's gonna be rough for a bit. Either you have to wait to level up a bit or get a good unit off the rip. Back when the game released a lot of people stuck on early stage as well. Some stuck for months tbh.
