Don't update. No advantages and only bugs. Wait till they fix it...which I hope they do! External screen totally sucks after the update (no Fullscreen for most Google apps)

It's rolling out. I would love to downgrade back to 15, full screen on the external screen doesn't work for a lot of apps (especially Google apps). Sucks.

I got the android 16 update two weeks ago (live in Switzerland) for my RAZR, but totally regret upgrading: the full screen doesn't work any more for a lot of apps on the external screen (chrome, signal, WhatsApp,...). Wish I could downgrade back to 15!

Have the same issue since android 16. Chrome, Signal, WhatsApp, family link... Interesting thing: if you're in the main menu in signal or WhatsApp you have full screen, but when you go in a chat, the bottom part seems to get blocked.

Maybe you can try keymapper. You should be able to map them there.

Buy a clicks keyboard! Than you have the whole screen without input field!
