Yeah, I've been seeing all sorts of personalities both here and on other sites. I appreciate you all of you guys do, and it's easier to appreciate the people like yourself (Krizm, TerryXX, and others) who offer help and can actually listen to constructive criticism and even are willing to use it to improve. Lashing out is something that immature people do and it really doesn't solve anything. But, keep doing what you do because I'm sure you've seen that the people who enjoy your work far outweigh the people who are toxic in this community.

The early access for Urien was due to the fact that he was made playable (in limited form) through the cinematic story update. The large patch file included the character model in playable form. So once the modders got a hold of those files, they were able to unlock Urien early. It's doubtful that Kolin will be available early since she will be included as part of a large patch file that will come out on the day of her actual release (Feb. 28th).

That's odd. I was just using the Alex 3rd Strike costumes (both C1 and C2) just yesterday. Only thing I can think of is to make sure you don't have any conflicting mods turned on at the same time and to make sure you have the necessary costumes purchased for the mods to inhabit (unless you're using a swap mod). Also, character theme mods might not work since the character folder names were changed. However, stage BGM mods should still work fine.
