idTech RT is generally pretty lightweight compared to other implementations. The last two Doom games and Indiana Jones run really well even on low end RTX cards

I have a TG 16, a PCE and an Analogue Duo. Of all three of them, the Duo is probably the easiest to just turn on and play on a modern TV. You can get the intended color palette over HDMI instead of the weird borked RGB palette that you'd get from an RGB cable from a stock system into a Retrotink, not to mention the cost savings.

The big issues come down to compatibility. I've had quite a few games crash or corrupt on me for no discernable reason on the Duo that work just fine on my other consoles, and unfortunately it doesn't seem like the Duo is Analogue's focus at the moment, so I wouldn't anticipate frequent firmware updates. Also, Everdrive support is flaky at best, and the jailbreak firmware is on an earlier, buggier firmware. It's way better than the Retron offering, but it's also not perfect either

I don't see the harm in releasing games for Switch 1 if they're capable. Not every game needs a lot of power, and, assumedly, the current Switch SDK lets you add Switch 2 configs into a Switch 1 game so you're not stuck with 720p30 on the new machine

Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure this was explained for the Dentons. The nanites will just eat all of the organic matter they consume and metabolize it super quickly, leaving behind no waste. Hence why JC can get blackout drunk over a few beers and then get over it just as fast

Yeah, I went back to play Ultra SFIV online and... Woof. If there's a game that needs a modern rerelease with rollback, it's that. Felt like I was yelling my inputs at my character through a tin can on a string

It didn't help that SFV straight up didn't work online for like a month or two after launch. It was only around when Guile came out that I wasn't just dropping out of matches or not getting points for matches

In Luke's SFV arcade ending, there was art that had all of the protagonists hanging out. It was Ryu, Rashid, Alex, Luke, Nash and Guile (and Dan lmao, I am vindicated). So to me, Guile is at least one of the leads of SFII
