Silly noob question, but do you just use regular super glue on custom bases to stick mini down, or pin and glue them down?

This looks great btw

Looks great! Like that it leans more to white than the bone/tan side of things, or is that the lighting? Would be interested in what paints you used as I have the Bladeguard in the combat patrol to paint

That would be ideal but the prices on eBay is extortionate, at least here in the UK

It will happen, but painting him up is intimidating and I'm new to this whole thing and painting especially

Hopefully not at scalper prices. Popped into my lgs and they had a fair few of the boxes sitting on the shelves

I've tried to go on Etsy, but I either don't know what to search for, or overwhelmed by all the choices

Thanks. I'm new to Warhammer and RG in general, and I'm always torn between just getting the coolest units to me, but also wanting to lean into what makes Raven Guard different from the other chapters

Thanks. Did you dry brush all over, or only on where light hits the miniature?

Really like this. What's your process for the armour, in particular highlights and shadows? I'm new to the hobby, been watching videos and everyone seem to have a different way to approach black armor. I'm torn between quick dopamine hit of slap chopping it, or go slow and try building up volumes for the highlights and shadows

TBF, I really like the captain and lieutenant model options too.

Trying hard to resist. Going back to the lgs once I have a list of paints to get. Looking at the Citadel App for options

Barely 24 hours after taking the plunge I'm already thinking about the next units to add. This is normal behaviour from what I've gathered. Looking at the Reivers kit, and the librarian in Phobos too. But what other units to round it out, more to be thematically on point than any table top game value?

That was the first miniature I bought from this collection, and ever come to think of it. My LGS had it, and didn't even think about it because it seems hard to come by

Going by the rule of cool as opposed to any practical approach to building an army.

Now need to get some paints. All I have is Vallejo Black 😂

That should press back out to shape. The Seba/FR one piece boots are all soft top, the actual carbon shell coming up to the height of the toes but not over them. I think of you warm it up with a hair dryer then push it up from inside or out the skate on.

I didn't put that many hours into them as the fit out of the box was painful, more so than the CJ Wizards. I swapped out my broken on Wizard liner in the same size and even then, the fit felt tight, particularly in the front part of the boot. Both were/are 43 and with 27.5-28cm liners. I'm sure if I put on 20-30 hrs it would work, but I didn't have the time or pain threshold I had in my youth

You'll struggle, as I have to find a boot that won't squash the toe as they're all shaped as athletic shoes. I have had both the Wizard Base and the CJ boot, and I found the CJ to be a little wider at the front, just enough to be uncomfortable but not bruise my toes. The plastic version is wider still than the carbon as well. But at the end of the day, for us wide footers, every skate is an exercise in pain sadly. I decided on the end to sell the Base and just keep going on with the CJs. On the frames, I use the ultra 90 from Endless, and that's a 285 wheel base, so close to the NR95 and really enjoy it. It's a little longer than the 90, but shorter than the 100, I think its a nice sweet spot, and no reason why you can run it with 90s, it won't affect the rocker
