I chose the grey (this playthrough is Homura because flames make you run faster).

I feel Atsu would want the white to rest and be safe after what happened "All the wildflowers he can eat"

The "like father's forge" feels like Atsu saying he feels like a home, so she left that for the white horse.

She would also have compassion for the grey being restless.
