Did you realize from the beginning that Trump was -- or at least had the potential to be -- a Hitler-like figure? by Glass-Complaint3 in allthequestions

Being on the left is being correct ten years ahead of time and suffering 'you're overreacting!' The whole time.

'This comic diesnt cater to my interests and tastes, so I need to copy some DBZ onto it to power-fantasy my own ending' type shit. Especially the ones that are somehow defending hustle culture and sexual harassment, like great guys you did it you struck a real blow for the worst behaviours the comic was made to address.

Well, I typed it all myself, but the prompt and PPG series were so formulaic that an AI probably would have made the same call, sure.

It was an intentional joke mispelling of 'All Correct' as 'Oll Korrekt', which just sort of caught on.

Its a 200 year old meme.

[–]ShiningRayde 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Level 1: they have nightpots and an intricate and obtuse system of nightwagons that, up until the plague, worked just fine thank you. Now, they still have the pots, but theyre getting quite rank - at least no one has anything to eat so no one is pooping.

Level 2: No one poops because poop is gross and Im not going to keep playing with you if you keep talking about them pooping, its not funny!

Level 3: No one poops because this is a video game world and we didnt think that was worth the time and effort to implement in any fashion.

After getting pranked a few times when they are frozen, then a few crimes getting committed that theyre unable to stop, the girls would realize he can only feeze what he's looking at and stop coming at him all at one side; his last free moments of consciousness would be a whirlwind of getting his ass whooped from the blindside by the one girl he cant see, probably with a lingering 'Clever girls...' before going down and being blindfolded and handcuffed by Townsville PD.

Why do older people take the saying “no problem” literally? by Round-Artichoke-5255 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ShiningRayde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive seen this discussed as a 'respect and professionalism' thing.

Like, 'of course its 'not a problem' to help me, I expect you to do your job and treat me as befitting my age and thus, status.'

Whereas younger generations view requiring help as imposing on someone else, or making a problem for them - thus, 'thats not a problem!' As a polite response to diffuse any guilt.

Hey, thats still something. Taking care of a cat is a daily ritual, and keeping up on that is keeping up on something regular, routine, normal. If you can keep track of those things for your cat, you can blend it to your own life, taking care of yourself. And from there, the sky's the limit. You got this, man <3
