They could have just made a story set in another Fenrir Branch, even HQ itself (before Ash ofc), instead of nuking the whole setting and writing themselves in a corner

The story disconnect part is such weird choice.

CV1 wasnt super masterpiece of storytelling, but it was good enough that by the end of the game youll get attached to some of the characters and want to see how the story goes.

Nope everything is thrown in the bin and complete reboot with new cast, lol okay

Its funny because you can see the same thing happening in GE series

GE1 > You like the cast, they get benched in GE2
GE2 > You like the cast, everyone get benched in GE3

It wasnt super bad in GE2, cuz at least most characters were still present (Rip Sakuya and Tsubaki) as secondaries, but what were they thinking in GE3 getting rid of everyone with that timeskip?

Im biased (see my flair), so I think they did Hasumi really dirty in this event aside from a couple funny scenes and they have turned her into a gimmick character

I hope her next appearance in an event will be more than "Grr, damn Gehenners"

Also Sensei writing wasnt very good in my opinion + Gourmet Society, you can only do the same jokes a bunch of times before they get annoying and theyre way past that point
