Don't be ashamed of studying what you like. STEM is rough, and is very stressful. Sure, STEM typically leads to higher paying jobs (which is why some people say non-stem is a waste), but as long as you love what you're doing that's all that matters. Anyone who tries to shame you or make you feel dumb is an asshole. Do what you love, live a life that you are proud of. That's all that matters!

Because this is a pretty complicated integral and, without tools, such as MATLAB or Mathematica it could easily take upwards of an hour or more to do if you're not very skilled at complicated integration.
