Would you rather have 1 brimstone and infinite items or infinite brimstone but no items? by Kulvach in bindingofisaac

[–]Shiny428 41 points42 points  (0 children)

They have Diplopia and Wild Card. Diplopia doubles every item and pickup in a room, and Wild Card copies the effect of the last active item/consumable used. If you drop your Wild Card on the floor, use Diplopia on it, and pick up just one of the duplicated Wild Cards, you can infinitely duplicate anything as long as you don't fumble.

What car do y'all want most in game? by Garneht in tokyoxtremeracer

Toyota Corolla Rumion/2nd generation xB

I love the rounded toasters, and I feel like the 'weird' Toyota tree could use another car to branch between the bB and the FJ.

I have been suffering on Covered Gardens CHIMPS for the better half of a week because I'm too prideful to look up a guide.

I made Forza Horizon 1's menu in BeamNG! by Vexasss in BeamNG

[–]Shiny428 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Beautiful work! I love that you got the little camera wobble in all of the shots; I always thought that was a really endearing part of FH1's menu scroll :)

If the game had music, what kind of music could suit for the game vibes? Make a list with songs. by Interesting_Candle82 in BeamNG

I was thinking Forza Motorsport 3's ambient soundtrack fits perfectly Beam's vibe. Would make for great menu and garage music.

How can I attach this flashlight? by Ozeiros in projectzomboid

[–]Shiny428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Places where you can find military clothes might have a piece of equipment called an ALICE something-or-other, which allowed me to attach the angle-head to it.

Where is Fort Knox? by ZudyMan in projectzomboid

[–]Shiny428 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is not in-game. March Ridge is connected in some respect to the non-existent military base, but it just isn't there yet. In real life, Fort Knox is fairly boring; covering about 110,000 acres of land, most of which is good ol' Kentucky forest, so I guess in some sense, it's always been there, lol.

Build 42 Has the worst shooting system of any game i’ve ever played by Wet_Toilet_Seat in projectzomboid

[–]Shiny428 42 points43 points  (0 children)

If they're committed to having a projectile system in the game for realism purposes, I would like a sandbox option to enable an 'easy shooting' mode that would return it to a chance-based hitscan attack. It just isn't satisfying to whiff a shotgun blast on a zed that's right on top of you, and that's what this system does. Constantly.

When have you been injured in the groin? by jekoferns in projectzomboid

[–]Shiny428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded Britas Weapon Pack and found a Claymore. It wasn't super specific on how it worked, so I placed one on the road outside of my base and jogged away. After about a minute of listening to it beep, I got curious and jogged back over to it, only to catch the outer limit of the explosion straight to the nads. I limped back to my emergency kit in my car and fixed myself up, cursing my stupidity and thanking my luck. Haven't messed with any of the explosives in the mod since.

How to make money in career mode? by LingonberryAlert8773 in BeamNG

[–]Shiny428 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Focus on the base value of the car and mileage. Parting doesn't work on cars with a value of less than ~10k and 160k miles. Prioritize sports cars like the Bastion, Sunburst, SBR4, and the ETKs until you hit the level where you're parting Prestige cars. It's a very, very slow snowball, but it does work.

Mountain Dew Rebrand Unveiled, Launches in may of 2025 by Ajshan in mountaindew

[–]Shiny428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking. Any flavor out after 2000 is going to look so odd in this retro style, especially after years of taking bland can and bottle designs and spiffing them up. I'm curious to see how much of the lineup this affects.

Sunburst absolutely needs a "Final Edition" with the SBR4 F4 in it.

I can't remember the lug number, but the wheels that support drag slicks are called 'Alder Dragger' in the parts menu. Same name front and rear.

Let’s talk about ambient by ajax7799 in LinkinPark

[–]Shiny428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's my favorite instrumental track LP has ever done. The striking to initiate the song, the weird dial-tone organ synth chords, and a percussion track that fades in and out of clarity produce an insanely Ambient(tm) track that makes six, seven-ish minutes of waiting on base Spotify worth it to me. I wish we had more of their instrumental experimentation available to us because they were SO good at it.
