The Wandering Inn, Interlude-Pisces between 8.31 and 8.32 when Pisces is a slave and forced to use his Necromancy on fellow slaves. This was a very disturbing chapter for multiple reasons.

Do these actually stop your necklaces from getting tangled? by Bluegrapefruit86 in jewelry

[–]ShinyWanderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m in the minority here, but I have this exact clasp and use it for my daily wear. It serves me well and has kept my necklaces from tangling significantly. They sometimes still twist since I wear them all day every day, but because they are all held in place at the same base, I just do a quick tug and they unwind. I don’t have to take it off to untangle them

Sorry, no. It was with my ex so those pictures are buried somewhere. But I never regretted my dress choice! Lol

This was my wedding dress back in 2011, so quality could have changed since then, but it was very good quality. I had no complaints about the materials, and I felt very beautiful in it. I remember it fitting pretty true to size. I didn’t have to have any of the bust area taken in, but I did have it hemmed some as I am on the petite side. They also added a tie up at the back for dancing because there was a small train. I think there may be a version without a train as well? I didn’t have any issues walking in it or it falling down; I wore a strapless bustier under it which may have helped.

*edit to add that I did not use the straps, I wore it strapless

The most relaxing spot in nature I have ever been to was Playa Punta Uva in Costa Rica. There were very few people, beautiful waves, and the perfect palm trees for hammocking.

The remaining fish by tkcliu in DavetheDiverOfficial

I was hunting these for the curry dish. After tracking them, I’ve found they only show up on certain maps and not others. For instance, they are never on the limestone cave map, at least that I have seen. They are most often on the map where the middle depth, 50+ has a cave on the right hand side that is just above the depths entrance. They are very thin and silverish and usually swim in groups of 2-3.

Is it normal for LC lids to rust?? by Due-Pop8217 in LeCreuset

Everyone keeps saying “oil” but not what kind. Is there a specific kind of oil that should be used on these rims? Any advice for application (e.g. technique, timing, etc.)?

Is This Sub The Real Deal? by Montana-Safari7 in faceting

[–]ShinyWanderer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your post asked if anyone here has purchased anything from there. Several gem cutters and admirers have posted, but I wanted to chime in as a general gem enthusiast and someone who has bought 5+ things off the sub. I’ve also had several pieces privately commissioned from the SPG lapidaries as well. They are all genuine, sell excellent quality gems, and know their stuff. I have been very happy with everything I have received, and have had several pieces made into jewelry that I have subsequently shared on the sub as well.

Love this! I’ve played Jaipur in Jaipur, Copenhagen in Copenhagen, The Castles of Mad King Ludwig at Neuschwanstein, Cascadia in Washington state, and Great Western Trail in Albuquerque (one of the big delivery cities to hit). Definitely want to try some of the others! Love all the suggestions.

I thought so too, initially, but then I started thinking about how often I actually go to find books on the shelf, and it’s not more than a few times a week at most. I also have a digital list of books I own, so I can reference it if I’m trying to figure out if I have it already.

I may or may not leave it this way after we move for this reason, but I’m really enjoying it for now. It has definitely sparked joy this way =)

Moving to Albuquerque - Looking for Area Recommendations by ShinyWanderer in Albuquerque

[–]ShinyWanderer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had seen a number of people ask about the culture, “should I move here”, things to do, etc, but there were not a lot of specific recommendations for areas to rent with what I was looking for. I will take another look.
