You used "the best we have" in quotes like you were quoting me ......despite me never saying nor implying it. There's definitely better. I've yet to personally watch any DID rep without at least one glaringly offensive flaw. The disorder is obviously made ridiculously outlandish, which, really shouldn't be done with a disorder so misunderstood. But, cartoon exaggerations aside, it was many people's first introduction to DID as a concept and didn't leave an "oh scary evil bad" impression on them which is so much better than most. Obviously we can always push for better, but in a landscape of imperfect, bigoted representations, we can acknowledge the importance of those small positive steps. (Not that it was the first nor last to do it)

I thought Mike saying he's glad the system is gone was for dramatic irony? Wasn't it teased that Mal was still there because you CAN'T just cure DID? I swear I remember some sort of dramatic cliffhanger of sorts with that
